They use $1000 worth of components minus 30% gross margin. Apple do the same for there products with a gross margin on laptops around 32% by there last reported figures.
The sticker price being harder does not mean they have taken the same parts and just put a higher margin on it.
I pretty much agree with Krusty. Some of today’s music is actually good. But not from Lil Wayne, Miley Cyrus, Soulja Boy, or Jonas Brothers. Well, to me, it’s mainly hip hop music that’s now pretty bad. I listen to 90’s hip hop, since that was it at it’s best.
Your commet is based on laptops, i have said nothing about laptops perhaps you are replying to the wrong person.
I have been talking about workstations. And your Acer has a £200 cheeper CPU on the OEM charts, supports less ram, does not have a dedicated GPU or even a good IGP, and it has about 30% less screen resolution, ect ect. You get what you pay for
Let’s just get one thing straight: you’re seriously suggesting macs are at price parity with PCs? Is that what you’re saying? That’s the craziest fucking thing I’ve ever heard.
You completely missed the point lad. A consumer or gaming motherboard can cost from $10-$400 depending on your needs.
A workstation motherboard with dual CPU sockets, 4-6 full length PCi-e slots and ECC memory support can start at $800 from someone like Tyan or if you cut corners and features maybe $500-$600.
If you think a motherboard costs 800 dollars, you really should stick with your Macintosh. Maybe can get one installed with an oxygen tank and a tard cart.
He said a workstation motherboard, i guess he is talking about a motherboard with comparable hardware to the one that the Mac Pro has, like 2 processors, 32GB of ram, 4 PCI express slots etc. Correct me if im wrong, but that would be closer to his price, but he is still too high.

And we execute the plan we thought of.
Exploitations, baby.
1000$ Laptop? Well, with around 200$, you can bring it to worth around 2500$.
Of course, I use mine for gaming.
I just use the Linux-powered PC in my office for working. That shit is provided, of course. I’m not very rich.

I think Apple rocks (mainly the iPods) but it should be less expensive. The PC’s and laptops cost like $1000. Come on!
